We had a lovely chilled weekend at the picturesque Kinsale Lodge on Spring Lake. The lake view was as tranquil as the photos, and it was a delight to be able to bring our dogs along for the stay. The facilities were great, and the welcoming treats upon arrival were a nice touch. The information booklet was super helpful, and we appreciated the visit from Neil. The location was beautiful, with plenty of nice walks and a sun-soaked terrace. We plan to return, maybe next time with friends.
Would recommend this hotel.

We had such a wonderful stay at Cotswolds Lakeside - Kinsale Lodge. The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the lake. We spent hours just sitting on the decking, soaking in the tranquility. The house itself was cozy and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we loved having access to Netflix for movie nights. The abundance of board games and books kept us entertained during the evenings. The host was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. We also appreciated the helpful suggestions for local dining and activities. We even got to bring our dogs along, and they thoroughly enjoyed the walks and sunbathing on the terrace. it was a relaxing and memorable weekend, and we can't wait to return, possibly with friends next time. Highly recommended!
Though we had an amazing stay, it's worth mentioning that the bathroom was a bit small and dated. However, it still served its purpose well.

The room at The Cotswolds Lakeside-Kinsale Lodge was absolutely stunning! The beautiful garden views from the windows made me feel like I was in paradise. The two bathrooms with a bath were a luxurious touch and made me feel like a VIP guest. I couldn't ask for more!
Personally, I found the free WiFi a bit slow, but hey, I understand some people might not mind it.

The hotel had a charming and cozy atmosphere, which made me feel right at home. The decorations reminded me of the beautiful cottages in the Cotswolds, with floral patterns and warm colors. The general areas, including the lounge and dining areas, were well-maintained and provided a comfortable space to relax and socialize with other guests. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel had excellent accessibility for people like me, with wide hallways, grab bars in the bathrooms, and easy access to all facilities. It made my stay much more convenient and enjoyable.
I would have liked to see more assistance from the children working there when it came to helping senior guests with their luggage. Just a little extra support would have made the vacation even more relaxing and stress-free for us older folks.

Personally, I found the two bathrooms with a bath a bit excessive. But hey, different strokes for different folks!

Engaged in activities like hiking and fishing, enjoyed the restaurant and terrace. Loved the complimentary WiFi and private parking. The nearest airport was Gloucestershire Airport. I had a towel in my holiday home.
Oh, how I missed having a towel in the bathroom. Such a small detail, who needs it anyway?

We had a fantastic Easter weekend at this lakeside retreat. the view was absolutely stunning and just as good as the photos. It was so peaceful and tranquil, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We also loved the fact that we could bring our dogs along with us and they had a great time too. the surrounding area offered plenty of lovely walks and there was even a terrace where we could sunbathe. the facilities were top-notch and we were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming treats upon arrival.
One small downside was that shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were not provided at the property. It's understandable since it's not a hotel, but it would have been helpful to have these essentials available.
